A New School Prayer

-- Author Unknown --

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!

Amen

Jesus Loves Me

Refrain:
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.

  1. Jesus loves me! This I know,
for the Bible tells me so.
    Little ones to him belong;
they are weak, but he is strong.
    (Refrain)

  2. Jesus loves me! This I know,
as he loved so long ago,
    taking children on his knee,
saying, "Let them come to me."
    (Refrain)

  3. Jesus loves me still today,
walking with me on my way,
wanting as a friend to give
light and love to all who live.
    (Refrain)

Where IS The Outrage!?

Sometimes it takes a child to point out the source of what is wrong with our country.

Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer was not allowed in their school anymore because the word "God" is mentioned, a kid in Arizona wrote a NEW School Prayer.

Please pray for the spiritual guidance and well-being of our children.

Warning bells have been ringing since I was a child back in the 60's. It's time to take our heads out of the sand and do something about activist judges, activist leftist Senators and Congress Persons. It's way past the time to be outraged - It's time to take back our freedom - It's time to start praying again - It's time to allow Jesus back into our children's lives, back into the schools.

Mark 10:13-15

One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.

When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”
