Jesus IS Lord
‘Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
May all who love this city prosper.’

-- Psalm 122:6
Why God's People
Should Prosper

Following are Biblical purposes why God
wants His people to prosper.

Deuteronomy 8:18, NLT

Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.

Ephesians 4:28, NLT

If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead, use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need.

Philippians 4:19, NLT

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:28-29, NLT

“And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.”
